Can nview software(nvidia) scale my lcd to 90%?

I am wondering if I can just use a software solution to shrink my image and get it all on the glass of my elmo.

you can use software it shrink the image on a lcd but only to a certan extent then you will get a message from the monitor
that the signal is out of range and the monitor will reset on its own
btw what lcd are you usin?

It will be an nec 1560m of course! It seems to be priced right and have the best specs.

do you already have the monitor?
if so have you taken it apart and extended the ribon yet?
that monitor should alow you to adjust the horizontal size about
5/8 of an inch
the vertical does not adjust from the monitor menu
i used a progie caled powerstrip it gave me a little more on the horizontal but not much maby alowed 1 inch total with the monitor already shrunk
as for the vertical i never tryed to adjust it cause i displayed the whole 9" no problem

No, I'm still looking for the best deal on the monitor.
I just got my qa-1150 yesterday and have been playing with it.
Man, it looks ok, pretty dark and muddy on my elmo 305,
but boy is it big. I had a watchable image probably 15' diagonal.
My wife is a believer now, and that makes my project much easier to complete. 🙂
