When i bought my one of my ovation +920s it came with both front and back glass peices busted. It was pretty easy to replace. I went down to my local hardware store and had a couple peices of glass cut to the same size, then with a couple of screws i popped in the new glass. On the ovation the back peice of glass was the easiest to replace because it was designed to pop off for cleaning. If its only the back glass on the z350 it will probably be easy to replace. Can you post a picture of the back of the panel? It would give me some idea of what were working with here. As long as the lcd isnt damaged it can be repaired.
sorry no pics 🙁
well since the item still works I've decided to just keep it the way it is...i may even post it on ebay who knows 🙂
Thx

yeah it's easy get a pane of the best glass you can fromt the glass cutters. img how masterfully wrapped was it? companies would send this sort of thing with 6 inches of all grades of purest bubblewrap all around!!!
....I wrapped it with the NEWEST foam wraps around.. USPS are the one who screwed it up by mishandling it, i should of put fragile on it but oh it still works, not problem.
We do a lot of shipping and there are a few pointers for shipping;
Forget about marking is fragile, most of the boobs handling the packages can't read 😉. Marking it fragile is as good as warning labels on firearms. They only time they pay attentions is if the box is marked bio-hazzard or explosive but even then it is sometime ignored.
Protect what ever you are shipping for at least a 6' vertical drop. If you are unsure, get the insurance.
Keep items inside the box from banging into one another and give them ample space.
Foam on the outside and your stuff in the center. Try to keep the cener of gravity in the center of the box.
Peanuts are for lighter items but for the heavy stuff that can shift use larger peices of foam or air bags.
If it is very important, fragile or irreplaceable, take it to a shipping place and let them pack it and buy a lot of insurance. This will speed up the claims because you will have a third party as a witness for the packing and shipping.
From what I was told, FedEx and UPS, if an item is insured for over $500 it will be handled better. The $500 and up items are secured in a locked area that has limited access by management only and they do keep better track on it.
UPS and FedEx will handle claims a lot faster then the US postal service.

Thanks spark, I will be more cautious with my shipping arrangements.This is the first time and hopefully the last,
the only reason why i use USPS is because there are the closest to me 🙁
