Might I add a question for that: Do you think that using a "current-drive" amplifier would require more dampening or changing the FB to an even lower value?

If possible for your 100 Hz low end target you want your box FB to be at least one octave below (50 HZ) if possible. This keeps the box resonant peak out of your pass band.

The proper way to tune a vented design for SQ.
In a properly designed sealed mid bass - mid range application "current -drive" will have little if any advantage. The overall "quality" of the amplifier is what is important. Of course, amplifier "quality" is subjective. YMMV
