Can I use Brass screws as Turret lugs?

So... will it work?

I read some were that brass is only 28% as conductive as copper, and the screws i have are not tinned or gold plated... Can it be a problem?

Given the cross sectional area the increased resistance shouldn't be a problem. However heating them sufficiently if you intend to solder to them may be an issue

I'll probably use short M3 screws, not something I haven't soldered before.

Goodo, those shouldn't be a problem soldering with a large bit
