Standard ol PE .75 cab just needing a build. I have seen little boxes like .25 an the larger free standing.
Can this box work for the driver?

My basic box software suggests a port 2" by 7" for that volume. That should get you as low as 45hz.
Your volume is larger than the maximum volume Jordan suggests for that driver, but a bigger box like that .75 would be my choice also. I like deeper bass.😀

With a relatively large box like that, you will lose some excursion-limited power handling as a tradeoff for that greater bass extension. When a fullrange driver goes into over-excursion the first sign is usually a loss of midrange clarity.
The Jordan is a pretty hardy little sucker. If you're
reasonable on the volume control, I think it'll be fine.

Sorry for off-topic, but something just popped up in my mind: Nelson, if I remember correctly, once you mentioned that you were experimenting with a cheap (ok, that's relative, but cheap for what you get) combination, which consisted of fairly good fullranger in a closed box (like Jordan driver) and some cheap (again, relative) subwoofer, and, that you will write a paper about that, the point being that the combination will be WAF friendly and give a bank for the buck. Ok, I admit that Jordan is not a particularly cheap driver, but in the above combination, the sound would be much better that some mass-market offerings...
Am I wrong?
Thanks..

On topic 🙂 Looking at the distortion profile down low it likely is better to use this in a smaller box with a natural roll off at a little higher freq.?
