I suspect that it will be pretty much what the website describes, which is a tube based low pass filter, followed by a tube gain stage. I'm no DSD expert, by any means, however, I don't believe DSD require a DAC chip, only a low pass filter - for a minimalist implementation. I doubt there will be anything innovative about what Lampizator is planning. Rather, it probably will depend on a highly messaged tube implementation.

Probably something made on veroboard with some long wire runs, and put into a fancy case like this Lampizator DAC generation 2.5 level 3 DAC
