Can a larger sealed box be detrimental?

Going to put a pair of Tempest X2-15" in sealed boxes. Manufacturer indicates that a larger sealed box is a better sealed box...

It seems to make sense for me, to put them in ~13 cu. ft. boxes, for various logistical reasons (not sound quality related). Manufacturer does not say what happens beyond 8 cu. ft.

Is there any detrimental effect due to putting a sub in a larger sealed box?

Thank you.

You may gain sloppy bass with a large cabinet.
The sealed box acts like a spring pulling back on the cone (or pushing on the in-swing).
Without that resistive pressure both directions you are relying more on the driver's suspension and can run into damaging the suspension system on the driver.
