I tried in vain to get the schematic from Cambridge Audio- twice.
I want to do the standard CD mods- bypass mute transistors and change output op-amp. I think I see the transitors that are right before the analog output jacks. I could wing it but would rather not kill my player. I have done a bunch of 1980's and 1990 Sonys and the boards were labelled and footprint really workable.
I do not remember the procedure to bypass the mute transistors- remove or bridge. I think they take signal to alanog ground so taking them out would do it.
