after making speaker cables out of cat5 cable my amp is running hot is this normal/safe, speakers are wharfedale diamond 9.1

the sound hasnt been affected, if the twists of the wires were wrong (followed the twisted pair instructions off tnt) could this cause this type of problem, if it is oscillating what can be done?

Go back to your previous speaker cables

Otherwise, look into a zobel network (here or audioasylum cable forum). I'm not much of a believer in cable, other than sound construction at a reasonable cost, so you can take what I say with whatever grain of salt you wish.
