i just got a couple of bridge rectifiers, and have never used them before, only discreet diodes... how do you wire them? i have attached a picture, i have 2 of them.
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
The pins with the ac symbol need to be connected to the transformer and the + and - are the outputs.

see the squiggle line that means ac line in the plus sign is positive voltage out. now it goes like this
ac Neg
x
Pos Ac
Accorting to your picture.
across from pos is neg as like this x hope this helps.

ac never has a direction. no it doesnt matter what ones the ac go on. but make sure you dont put the ac on the pos or neg yuoll blow it up. nice big spark lol.
: O ) the pos and neg symbols are dc out. witch would go to your cap bank.

Stupid! 😉
I bought the same bridges from digikey, they are pretty nice, I think.
The connection is like Jason said. Like any other bridge of this kind.
If I am using two separate bridges for + and - I like to keep the transformer coils phase consistent with respect to the rectifier.

cool, i got it. i just didnt want to blow it up since i only have 2 🙂
yeah, i got mine from all electronics for $1.50 each. not bad i guess.

- call me stupid, but do you hook up bridge rectifiers?
