hi- in the past i converted my sl-7 arm to dynamic - ive forgotten the formular to work out how much weight to add to the headshell - i now the arm length and and required weight are part of it - once again im locked out of hi engine - no reset password forthcoming - so i cannot find arm length
Which TT is it, the SL-6 in your heading, or the SL-7 in the body of your post?

sorry i mean make non dynamic - gravity - sl-7 i did in the past when i knew the maths - sl-6 is the one im converting now
So, you want to convert the tonearm from dynamic balance to static balance.
I've not come across such a conversion in a linear tracking tonearm, but at least I've given your thread a bump.

on sl-7 the improve was significant - i leveled the deck platform and swapped feet for sorbothane hemispheres at the same time
