Hi all - ive seen several variations of an Altec A7 type speaker done with different size drivers. does anyone have a good method for coming up with the dimensions for an enclosure with this shape which include the front "wings" (?) as part of the internal volume? thanks in advance
Make a sketch in Fusion 360 and extrude to the height of the speaker. It will be able to tell you the volume of the resulting body.
Depends how accurate you want the answer. Could you approximate as triangles?
Otherwise you could use a circle to approximate that curve… but at that point might as well use CAD.
