I'm back. Hope you're doing well.
I got the Abby cabinets, and now have the FF165WK drivers installed in them. I'm enjoying them, trying them with different types of music and different placement, and listening for some break-in as well.
After reading the linked discussion about "opinions on mods...." I think I'm ready for the next step, so I'm looking at Modgepodge and Zig to get started.
A couple of questions:
-With what do I thin the Modgepodge? And how much to achieve "slightly thinned"?
-Does gloss go on the cone before EnABL? Or only after?
-Same question about the dustcap.
-Which size tip for the ZIG? I think it's this one? EK Tools 55-00010 Zig Memory System 2-Way Squeeze and Roll Glue Pen

1/ very little water is added to thin the modpodge. How much depends on th econsisitancy of what comes out the bottle. You want to thin it enuff to have it brush on slowly, maybe add 10% water, Too much and the cone can warp.
2/ gloss is an afte rteh sposts thing. A conformal coating, 2 coats (diluted 50%) on th econe, 1 on the dustcap.
4/ ZIG uses a brush. I destroy the can, pour the blue stuff into another container you can steal.
I found a combo pack @ Micheals that had all the different sizes and types of brushes needed.
