I need little help. I am waiting purchased components and meanwhile i decide to draw the pcb. The supplier kindly provide components outline in cadstar format, but i am working on licensed protell99 and have to work exactly on that protel for the specific customer.
Ok, but every my attempt to convert the component outlines are unsuccessful. I tried All that i have and that i could download and try - Ares, Eagle, a lot of CADs, Traxmaker, even "cured" DXP-6. No cadstar's in all import wizards.
OK again.
I can draw the components, no problem. But i still have not them and i had bad experience drawing once in advance .... you know.
In the end i have to say that this is radio module on board, not just component.
If someone can convert this for Protel99, please help.

Sorry to say but you are extremely unlikely to get this converted from CADSTAR format into Protel format.
CADSTAR has import wizards but not export ones.
However given that they are simple components/symbols you would be better redoing them in Protel. The time taken to make them is very small.
Have you the details (datasheet) or do you want screenshots of these?
You can download the CADSTAR express demo version to see them, this is limited to 50 components/300 pins so may even make the entire board.

I just tried to import it into Altium Designer 14.1.
It should be able to re-export it to Protel99, since Protel is its great-grandfather.

Having finally looked at the contents of the zip file, they are cadstar symbol (schematic) and component files only, there is no layout data present.
They had outline in the files.
I draw in Protel, of course. But all that IDEs make me very annoyed. No matter their complexity, never can have all that i need. I thing it is natural law, never can put ALL in one environment ... whatever.
i am not fan of Altium due to their attitude to CircuitMaker ( nice and easy for pcb and simulation !!!). Not fan of Cadstar either. I am using Protel because i have licensed copy. Not sure that i gain the money spent with 2 designs at year ....
Anyway.
