Hi guys I am trying to connect some pins on a board header to RCA connectors within the same chassis. What kind of cable is suitable for this ? Is 22/24AWG cable sufficient ? Can I use a "telephone cable" to connect the header for each RCA connection or the same cable to connect to both ? TIA
Shielded/screened cable. You can sometimes get away with twisted pair in a metal chassis but for an unbalanced connection you really need unbalanced cable. The thickness of the cable is electrically irrelevant but may be mechanically significant.
