Al bit silly, but I'm stuck. I'm building a streamer based on a Pi, and I need to extend coax, optical and I2S to the back panel of the enclosure. I'd like to buy prefabricated extensions of good quality, but for the life of me I can't find the right search term.
Could someone steer me in the right direction please ?
Thanks, Pete

You can check out adafruit. I use the 40 pin IDE cables for transferring all 40 pins. IDE are as common as dirt. Another thing I really like is the jumper wires that you can roll your own. Checkout their product id 3633 and 3141 and then you need something like the housing 3143. Digi resells these adafruit items so you can order direct from digikey. I suspect those items are available elsewhere as well. Lastly I will roll my own if I want a unique length with a larger gauge wire. I use Harwin M20-1160046 sockets for up to 22 ga stranded wire, although 22 is a very tight fit into the housing. I usually go #24 or #26 wire. It is tricky sometimes to mate a housing to a raw sockets as size is critical. I've ordered some other sockets besides the Harwin and found they don't fit. Also, unless you are good at crimping I'd go with the prefab 3633/3141. I'll also just cut the 3633/3141's if I need raw wire, it is thin though #28. I don't know how they can do it for the price (well machines of course) but when I do it manually takes a few minutes for each crimp.
