Thank you, @Mister Audio! - that was super informative! Absolutely no need to apologize, your diligence and criticality (read analysis) of the XO have opened my eyes to new considerations for crossover design. I’ll see if I can sneak in a switch, as suggested, or might just avoid the .22uF all together.
ASR has an impedance curve measurement, I assume w/o the parallel cap - the peak is not quite as high as suggested by @WhiteDragon, but it certainly returns with a rapid dip to the speakers min impedance.

Combining the impedance above with considerations for the .22 mod - providing a complex reactive load and dropped(?) impedance - the C-Note with a Class D Aiyima amp caused a significant rise in high frequency response - exactly Mister Audio's point!

@Michael Chua - excellent seeing your work on the Hummingbird. Seems you ignored the 8kHz peak as the original C-Note kit. I would love to see your passive crossover (best to DM you? or email?). Love investigating your other speaker projects - considering a future Osprey BR build, but also awaiting your further Harrier iterations 😉!
Thank you all!
