C core transformer

Hi, how to calculate the VA of this transformer, C core.
The section where the windings are is 3x2cm .
3x6x10cm external dimensions.
I don't know if its the same as IE core.
Want to know if it's worth keeping or trow it in the garbage. Depends on VA.

With all transformers, that depends entirely upon the guage of the windings and the area.
We know the area 3cm x 2cm what is the wire guage ... that is the question.

0.75mm primary
1.1mm secondary
Diameter measured with caliper.

Based on dimensions it can be ~100W. Will be good for the preamp.
Definitely a keeper.

2x 22Vac the thicker secondaries
220v primary.
Its two windings in series both the primary and secondary.
It has multiple secondaries tho.

So certainly given for 2x 18 Vac, can give you an idea to look for for this rating according the dimension, you shouldn't be far for the VA.... Perhaps something between 15 to 30 VA...

Kind of disappointing.
Sure looks bigger , like 100va or so. But according to the pdf yea.

Yes hard to see for us with a picture... Most of the R-Core I used were for pre or DACs, so I saw more R-Core with value 9 to 18V and 20 to 50 VA. It says nothing about your's... You need to load it and measure.
