Ive got a nice old ADC Sound Shaper One that Id like to incorporate into my system. Im using it via the Line Level In /Outs on the equalizer. It is connected to my preamp input following a simple source switch. The amp im using is a simple on with only RCA line in and out.
The equalizer works well in this way, but Id really like to figure out a way to bypass it when desired, or allow it to equalize.
I found an old thread on this forum where a member was working on one of these and mentioned:
" I'm going to modify the 'Monitor' switch to be a 'Bypass' switch instead; this will allow easy comparison between EQ'd signal and straight".
Unfortunately, there was no further discussion of if, or how he did this.
This is exactly what Id like to do to mine.
How would I go about this?
