bypass ad converter in dbx

It would be better, in theory at least, to avoid a D/A - A/D cycle by using the digital connection between the Meridian and the dbx. Upgrading the A/D would call for as much if not more work than adding some form of digital input.

Best of luck, but don't hold your breath. The dbx is used by very few 'philes especially as the DCX is cheaper and uses more generic components (I believe dbx use their own design ADC) and so is easier to modify.

The basics are fairly straightforward but few would try it without a schematic or service manual.
