If both read approximately the same, you only need to do it for one. If you're unsure, do it for both.
Those weren't removed from the board. I'll try to get those removed first thing in the morning and re-test them.
Quick question, is it necessary to remove the board before removing and reinstalling parts or will I be fine with the desoldering pump and iron? May be a dumb question but remember I'm new to this.
If you can get them out of the board from the top without damaging the solder pads, you don't need to remove the board.

3 years old thread I wondered what happened maybe I should carry off on this thread or start a completely new one. I have the same exact problem but its on my 1606d. Let me know if I should start a new thread just like the original poster not new to car audio but way new to repairing amps.
