has anyone built a website on a yahoo! domain? I have the domain already registered but can't seem to upload my site from my pc. i would appreciate any help.

This is interesting. People provide (free) website hosting with 2 ways:
1. They have already the template. You change only the text.
2. They give you an (FTP) access to their server to upload your HTML files. This can be a security issue for the server.
In both cases you will be given a username and password.
I couldn’t believe if Yahoo! had the reason to give such a big value-added feature to its customers freely, so I checked the yahoo website, and found a link on the homepage.
What the link exactly did, was to add the Yahoo! Main page to be the default site to be opened each time the web browser (Internet Explorer) is activated/opened.

Or... may be you have legally purchased a domain name and a hard-disk slot in the server. Then they must have given you a username and password to access a window or html page from where you can upload your html files. If you had a problem in doing it, there should be an administrator link where you should be able to report a problem. I’m just wondering why you have reported the problem to this forum
