Hi guys, I'm planning to build a set of low power portable speakers. I've been searching the net untill my eyes bleed without finding the speakers I'm after.
I'm going to build something similar to the creative travelsound speaker set with visible speaker cones.
Is there anyone out there who knows where to buy 2"-3" 0.5-2watts fullrange speakers with rubber surround that look nice.

New on the forum and it looks promising

Try parts express.
I tried three times to give you a link but it isn't working this morning. Go to their main page and punch in "extended range" into the basic search. There are some nice 2 - 4" units.

Maybe look at some of the offerings from Tang Band and Hi Vi research.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

I have a pair of those, Monacor MS-55 microphone-speaker thingie. I have not built a decent box for these but sound is nice what I tried and is said to take 5 watts. It is ugly but small anyway.
