I am thinking about designing a new amplifier, based on Quad crrent dumping/feedforward amplifier. Reference the following article
"Feedforward Error Corrections in Audio Power Amplifier" by John Vanderkooy and Stanley P. Lipshitz. Instead of using quads simple class A control amplifier I am thinking of using a class mirror topolgy and to design a low power very low distortion high speed class A amplifier to control the ouput dumper, based on Randys slone work and doug self work from there books, this should give me superior SN ratio compared to quad class A deisgn, I am not sure what type of output to use though, ie biopolar emitter follower. Has anyone desinged a similar amplifier based on the feed forward deisgn.
