Building 50W amp

Hello, I want to build some 2.1 amp around 50W per chanel. I dont have experience with building amps. I want it to be cheap (as far as possible) but to sound relatively good. I have experience with electronics so making my own board wouldn't be a problem. Please share me your makes or ideas, I will be grateful. And sorry if I made mistake in grammar, I am not a native english speaker.

I'd look at the LM3886 amplifier IC.

I'm also building a 2.1 set up using lm3886, but my power requirement isn't much, i mean not more than 100watts total. If you want to use powerful subwoofer then you have to use two or more lm3886 or tda7293.

I recommend you single chip 2+1 channel with LM4781

Nice chip. Was unaware of. With two of that chip it's also possible to build an activly xovered stereo subwoofer assisted fullrange system.

Wouldn't TDA1562 be better?

Tda15xx is for car audio & Philips(NXP) stopped their production long time ago. Better use mentioned chipamps which are in production. LM3886 & TDA7293 are capable of more than 50w of output power.
