Build a conventional 2 way speaker

@kpan The measured parameters in post #15 can be used to model an enclosure using something like WinISD or Speakerboxlite. BUT, before you do that, would you be able to remeasure the drivers with DATS? Firstly, I've found parameters to vary, sweep to sweep, using DATS. Might be best to run a few sweeps and extract an average. Secondly, the weight you used for the added mass method seems excessive in relation to MMS. This has an effect on VAS and will in turn affect your enclosure volume when modeling.

The woofer & tweeter are enclosed.
Options
#1 Hook them up & listen. Like or Dislike?
They probably only have a capacitor.
#2 Open them up, maybe there is a part #. You should measure the diameter of the woofer - Which woofer, ohms?

If the car speaker sounds good I would put the woofer & tweeter on an open baffle + subwoofer. (I'm not picky)

But your friend wants a "conventional speaker". Without modeling a box.
If they sound good on their plastic enclosures buy some old bookshelf speakers add these drivers, adjust stuffing.
Something like the Totem Model One.
