Red is to show you that you are invisible. Other people will see it as grey, the same as being offline.
Not a bug, but either an unfortunate choice or default... pictres linked in from cyberspace get a border. Many of the illustrations i have added to the forum were specifically designed to become one with the background of the post, the border ruins the effect (transparent gifs). Can we get the border turned off... or the ability to turn it off... or make it dynamic based on file type... it does have some benefit on the few images i've seen that are jpgs.

I really like the layout .. but.... BUGS !! Today at 5:00 EST (US time), all attachments disappeared. Could this be just a maintenance "glitch" ? Also, why does a child window require a additional login ? (upload window for attachments).
I did try both IE6 and chrome , yesterday , and all was good .
keep up the good work.

It looks very nice and bright, but why are the national flags in different sizes ?
Ex. Australia, long but small and Denmark, a big cube, etc.

We didn't make the flag graphics so they are whatever sizes they were supplied as. I'm not sure why they were done that way but with something like 200 different flags, it would be a big job to make new ones.
Links don't appear to work.
you can put in the link to diyaudio http://www.diyaudio.com/index.php but it doesn't let you put in the nickname/description for the link. You have to go back and pick which of the identical text you are going to redo.
The old link let you put in a link name.

It works the same as it did before, the UI is just a bit different... you just need to replace the 2nd instance of the URL that the tool creates with the text you want...
with curly brackets instead of square brackets (so it shows up)
{URL="http://www.diyaudio.com/index.php"}diyAudio{/URL}

Hi Jason. Nice looking forum.
I have a problem with sign in. I ask the forum to remerber me, but does not seem to accept this command. Each time I quit, I have to sign in again. Same thing when I move from one thread to an other, I have to reapeat this operation endlessly. That would be nice to be remembered each time and have the possibility move accross the threads without obligation to sign in each time.
Thank you
Jean-Charles

Why did you remove the option to see what other members are reading a forum?
if you scroll down below "quick reply"...

Hi AudioFreak. I changed the settings with my cookies as you suggested and it seems to work fine now. Many thanks for the help.

New posts?
How do I view the 'New Posts' since my last visit?
I thought there was such a choice in the 'Menu Bar' at the top of the forums page yesterday, but now can't find it anywhere...
Thanks
John
