okay, well I will find a cd player with coax just to make sure the problem doesnt come from the computer.Could just be a coincidence. Honestly, it could be one of a million things... there is just not enough information to find a solution.
okay! I got a dvd player. The problem is not there anymore!
The problem clearly seems to be a grounding issue: when I want to create the problem, I just need to touch with 2 wires, the dac, and the clicking and ticking and unlocking occurs... Also, I have the m-audio firewire 1814, and the coax output comes from a shitty wire with tons of wires connected to it: http://www.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=http://www.canadaram.com/musicimages/m-a-firewire1814.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.canadaram.com/m-audio.html&usg=__AwMzxJ0HIRSceppQjJEjXcEWY1o=&h=612&w=779&sz=145&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=lOEKkt-078KvBM:&tbnh=97&tbnw=123&ei=1iTgTZ3pHO-L0QHtsNDkCg&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dfirewire%2B1814%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26sa%3DN%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US😱fficial%26biw%3D717%26bih%3D407%26tbm%3Disch&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=118&vpy=114&dur=429&hovh=97&hovw=123&tx=135&ty=137&page=1&ndsp=10&ved=1t:429,r:6,s:0&biw=717&bih=407 and when I play with a wire and the cableswith the coax out, the problem occurs, and I can do make the problem comes really easy with that. Maybe thats not the problem, but it cant help...
So this may be a stupid question, but what I do next?
