There are plenty to try. The OPA1642 is certainly one of the newer and better sounding JFET op-amps out there.

Don't know if its better but AD815 is definitely worth looking at. Recycled ones are very cheap on Taobao and you get two amps in a single package. Admittedly its a fairly big package (SMT).

It's tricky to solder too. I have a few though.
