hy all , i was wondering if i can replace a 2n2955 with a BU406.

I'm using them in a schematic of a simerical amplifier that uses as output devices 2n3055 and 2n2955.

Not only is it the wrong polarity, it is a swiching transistor.
Switching transistors are not intended for forward biased linear operation with more than a few volts, they will blow up.
