i just got my hands on an old Channel-master reciever with an 8-track and a BSR turntable on top of it.
i'm having a hard time identifying the turntable model.
the reciver model is hp 6843 (according to the back). no info on the T.T.
i'm trying to repair it, since some of the levers are stuck (i'm sure a bit of WD40 will help with that).
it also has a "tape out" in the back - can i plug that into an "aux" input on my (mucj loved) *other* reciever - it's a 100 Mv out.
thanks!

o.k.
i think i've managed to ID this a a BSR C197 B\1.
i'm trying to locate a service manual, there is a loose part of the tunrtable, that i'm guessing won't let me turn the lever (although i did grease up a few other places, and now they're moving again).
can anyone offer help?
thanks!

Not much on the web, but here's a link to a BSR page Vinyl Engine, a good source of analogue information. You'll need to register to be able to download. Your particular unit isn't listed, but perhaps other BSR models might provide a clue if they are of similar design.
Hope this helps.
