Brutefir - where has it gone?

Brutefir seems no more available at it's usual repository (https://www.ludd.ltu.se/~torger/brutefir.html). Does anyone know the reason, or the meaning of this fact?

It looks like BruteFIR is part of several Linux repositories. If you are using one of these, you can just install the package via apt or yum or a GUI package manager. See:

I still have the sources of the "newest" version 1.0o. So no problem for me and for the moment. But what bothers me is the fact that the LUDD-Site was the primary repository of the sources until now, taken care by Anders Torger, who also is the author of Brutefir. And this address now is down. If Anders Torger is maybe no more taking care of the binaries - then who will do so in the future? I think that brutefir is a most valuable and important software for the linux audio community, too important to leave it perish, slowly outdating. And there are no real alternatives at the horizon which have a similar functional wealth of features.

According to LinkedIn, Anders finished his master studies at the university of Lulea at 2000. I would not be surprised if his university profile was cancelled.

Great news: Brutefir is alive.

... Sorry for the incovenience. My web and mail operator "Ludd" is a student project so the uptime is not top notch, and they have had sort of a record downtime in June/July, but now it works again!

So the Brutefir sources are again and as usual available at BruteFIR
