You mean this preamp?

I have no idea. Though I can guess... the whole preamp is inverting, 20dB (10x) gain, two 6922s are used (i.e. 4 sections), and there is low Zout (1k). Hmmm....

I would say a grounded cathode stage (possibly direct-coupled) to a cathode follower. But that is just my guess.
 
What you said is pretty close...the one that I'm working on is the "Companion" old edition. I'm modifying it.

I do understand that the transformers it is using support both 120 and 240V (40 to 60 Hz)...part of the mod is to switch from 12o to 240V.

It looks like, desoldering the xformer and track the PCB will be the only option...
