Broken CD display, what can be done?

Hi guys.
I bought a CD player Sony, but the display stick was broken in transit. The tube is broken, in which I think there is some gas. Other functions work.
What can be done about it? Are there such spare parts?

Broken Vacuum / fluorescent tube display, long obsolete, difficult to find.
Try and make one using a mini PC, like Pi, to drive a LCD.
Or get a new CD player.

Searching by part number might find other potential donor CD players, if Sony used that display on more than one model.

I agree, Finding a broken CD player with good display is the only solution.
