Zardoz, I saw you also posted that in another thread. Can you tell me what material that is, and how you managed to cut a perfect window for the LCD? Is that MDF?
Hi guys,
No pics at the moment, but I will try and take some to post.. It's always encouraging to see other peoples setups 🙂

I made the "top" out of the backing board of a "Framelss picture frame" it's really thin partical board. The sides are made out of clear pine, with vent holes drilled at an angle to discourage light escape (angled from top to bottom). The LCD "window" I cut out with a jig saw then cleaned it up with my dremel tool. This is the unit I told you I built too high off of the stage glass (made my screen door worse) I havent altered it yet because I was waiting for my new LCD's to arrive. Now I'm not changing it until I replace the broken LCDs that arrived 😡
When I rebuild, it will be considerably shorter (thinner?) and my panel cooling fans will be mounted on the top.

How did you cut such a perfect rectangle with a jigsaw and a dremel? I have a dremel, and I even have the router attachment, but there's no way I could make it that perfect.
Sorry everyone else, I know this is off topic.
