hi i have a pair of SONY toroidal classic transformers. 110V/35V+35V.
i was wondering is there is any way to bridge a two channel amplifier for a monoblock using this transformer, i intend to use it on 16 ohm load so the load seen by amplifier is 8 ohm.

I have a pair of Yamaha B5 amplifiers, 250 W per channel into 8 ohms, wanna run them monblocks some 400 Watss/bloc. the VA rating of this transformer is 400VA so biasing the transssitors higher could give a Class A amp with about 100W per block ???
any suggestions

Forget all about bridging!!! Use the amps as the stereo amplifiers they were made to be used as.
Instead sell that sony power transformer to someone who has better use for it.
