I would like to build a high quality microphone preamp and wonder if The Balanced Zen Line Stage would make a good choice?
Some input capacitors would be required if phantom power is to be used.
Is there anything else I should take into consideration?
Here are some specifications on a mic I am considering:

The major problem is that the Mosfet are too noisy.
You could try a similar circuit using Jfets, although you
still might not get as much gain as you want.
