Small update:

. lights on the dash work now, one of them looked fine, but was not making continuity 🙂
. stereo light was replaced, it doest light up because only 2.5v are beeing supplied when a powerful station is tuned. Would R807 be the trimmer to adjust this?

Many thanks once again 🙂

To prevent damage I will digress from my sentence "this is my last post here"
for now.

R 807 is for adjustment of the 24 volts supply - nothing else.

Stereo lamp has two resistors wired in series, R811 and R 950.
It is easy to see that the lamp will be dark if it is not of the type 12 V 30 mA.

Substitution by a green LED may be possible, increase one of these resistors
accordingly and watch out for polarity of the LED (in other word check the polarity
yourself).

My rigorous advice in post 17 was due to the fact that I gave the only correct
answer in your sole other thread. Time and money was wasted there.

Thanks for explaining so I do not mess with the R807. I decided for a green led for the stereo lamp with according resistor and that is ok now.

I will now end the service, happy to have such a nice Braun working nicely.

Thanks once again for all the help and patience.

I thought I wouldnt ask anything else, but noticed there is a ceramic capacitor disconected on the FM board, and I think it could be the reason for a very small hum on radio...

I could not detect where it would connect to, and I cant seem to find it on the schematic, can you please point it out if you have a similar machine?

Many thanks once again...

Sergio
