I just had this idea, since Playstation emulators are now at a very workable stage (note: i do not condone the use of emulators or illegal copies of games, yada yada yada...) and there are some pc games such as virtual cop, is it possible to set up a light gun for use with a projector? I have found this pc light gun at http://jandaman.cybrhost.com/Mercha...D&Product_Code=pcusblightgun&Category_Code=PC but all it mentions compatibility wise is that it works on crt monitors.

They only work on CRT's. Thats because the picture on a CRT is build up of scanlines (only one dot is lit up at any 1 time). The gun+software 'knows' when a new picture is started, by timing the difference START PICTURE-RECEIVE PULSE FROM GUN, you know where the gun is pointing at. TFT's dont update their content on pixel level, maybe one line at a time? Anyway, it cant work.
