Yes, and no, though it depends on the panel's construction, i.e. the more flimsy the panels, the more bracing required plus you didn't tie the two most important panels together, the baffle and its opposing wall, and this to the other bracing to keep the cab from 'breathing'.

Regardless, a very high aspect ratio cab has either 1/4 WL [vented] or 1/2 WL [sealed] eigenmodes, so most of the acoustical pressure is along its length, then so too should the bracing go [slats on edge to minimize friction losses] and since it's a good plan to brace every foot or so unless the panels are quite rigid, add some 'X' frame cross slats tie it all together.

For best performance, one of the 'X' braces should also be a driver brace that applies a tiny pressure on the motor to mass load it, or use full length bracing similar to what is popular among the 'full-range' driver crowd, though all those holes are optional in your case: http://www.frugal-phile.com/boxlib/pensils/Pensil-Series-set-100711.pdf
