Bouncy floor tweak for suspended tables

I found it on some audio forums and it supposedly originated from LINN . To eliminate (or mostly eliminate) problems with footalls on the floor rack simply drill the rack's top shelf and mount two 2"x2" (or something similar) pieces of lumber cut to lenght between the rack and the wall. The wood should rest tight on the wall. It did wonders to my Linn table (on loan) and should work with any close to wall setup with TT.

depends a bit on the wall and how it is connected to the floor, and where that is... like in the middle of a wood frame building, it might move quite a bit...

... there are other options, but they tend to cost more than a shelf screwed to the studs...

All true , but sometimes you don't have the stud where you want it , you have a stand and no money on wall shelf ,etc
