Bose 301 Series IV, busted fuse, green dot lamp & tweeter 2 inch
Hallo DIY members,
I’m totally frustrated with the BOSE behavior, after extensive search which includes your help, I concluded to call up BOSE in Framingham and order my parts, resulting in a cold shower by the BOSE people, they just told me on a quite snobbish way that they do not accept any orders for replacement parts. Hope there is someone out there who can help, I need parts for,…
Bose 301 Series IV
Tweeter 2 inch speaker gasket backed
part number 181862-SP or 266162
&
Fuse “lamp, green dot”
part number 141989
Anyone who knows where I can buy those parts or find any other replacement parts, hope someone can help me out here, this problem runs already for a few months and I’m just looking forward to enjoy my sound system again.
Thanks

If BOSE doesn't help you, I don't know who can. Because they are so nosy, that's why people turned to DIY so much.
Try to call some other BOSE enthusiasts.

If not measure your tweeter (or ask a friend to) and buy from another manufacturer like Visaton and others. The bulb if a ~1A you can use the one from eminence, but I am not sure. Maybe your answer is so easy that nobody else want's to help you. It doesn't pay for the money... or time consumed.

Yes, you can edit for less than a half hour from the time of the original post. I changed it to 'buy' for you.

The bulbs used for tweeter protection are normally 12V automotive 20W incandescent lamps.
