I was alittle bored so i bolted two BD250C PNP transistors to a heatsink and built this circuit around them and hooked it up to 16VDC: http://i.imgur.com/p6UCs.png
The result ? a amplifier putting out around a watt or two into 8 ohms and clips at about 6V peak output.

So i am doing some more work on this, to build a stereo version, i need two heatsinks.
I have two nice ones that will do but they are both badly warped with peaks and vallies all over the surface, solution ?

The prototype amp runs around 2.45A bias and is sounding really good.
