Boost the amperage of a small 36v SMPS?

Adding big caps to output of a SMPS doesnt always work.
On power up the SMPS will see high current draw and cut out.
Might work if SMPS doesnt have over current detect.

Yes, of course, some precaution needs to be taken before adding large capacitors to an SMPS output. Besides, they could also affect its dynamic (control) performance and stability.

However, it can be done if done correctly and is less crazy when compared to simply drawing extra output power that an SMPS is not rated for.
