Boombox with AMP6-BASIC battery connection

Hi Guys,

I've got a question which probably has been asked many many time in this forum.

I'm building a boombox with AMP6-Basic amp, which will be powered by SLA 7.2A battery, my question is how do i hook it up so i can listen to music and charge at the same time without taking the battery out?

I would make a parallel connection to the battery with the charger and amp. I did this on a couple of portable setups with an SLA battery. It worked fine except for some high frequency noise from the charger that was only noticeable when my ear was next to the speaker at low volume. You may have better results with the amp-6 your using, I used Sure amplifiers for the four I built.
