Boombox TA2024
After building a car amp and car speakers in a old tube radio enclosure (pics)
I decided to make a portable version. Since i don't have speaker design software i went for a speaker kit with reviews so i had some idea of them and some hints of the combination with a TA2020.
The complete set contains:
Ta2024 (modded)
CT218 speaker kit (TB W4-655)
Li-ion battery
Volume pot
Boomboom75 (marmitek bluetooth module)
12 v power/charger
5 v charger (bluetooth module)
switch for switching between bluetooth and 3,5 jack (in case of an empty BT module).
Since i hate painting MDF i use artifical leather and glue

First of all I saw that I made an error in the thread as you maybe saw it is the TA2024 board in the picture and used in this project....the TA2020 is used in a different project.
The mod I did was on the input resistors, I put some 10K res. parallel to them to lower the resistance. This way you can hook up your iPod. An iPod does not operate on line level so you would end up with less volume. On the www you can find lots of info about this mod.
