BMW X5 subwoofer

Hi all,

I just finished this custom subwoofer enclosure for a friends BMW X5. It installs in the right wheel well. I realize you can buy these pre-built, however this was an exercise just to see how it would turn out. Sounds great and fits like a glove. Long live DIY!

Looks like it was time consuming! Nice work. Newer gen x5 or the older original?

Thanks. Yes, it was very time consuming. It is a 2003 X5. Here it is installed. The side panel fits right over it. No need for a cutout or grill in the side panel.
