BMS 4594 horn selection

Has anyone tried a faital pro lth142 with the 4594 drivers? I know there are tools available to help with making selections. However, I am visually impaired and trying to use calculators and reading data sheets are not an option. Open to options. Thanks

The Faital Pro LTH142 recommended crossover frequency is 800Hz, it won't support the bottom end the BMS 4594 can produce. It's horizontal dispersion narrows from over 90 degrees at 1000 Hz to around 45 degrees at 10,000 Hz, it is a "beamy" horn.

Describing what your bandwidth and directivity goals for the horn would help in the selection.

I want to use it for in open baffle speaker. 18 inch AE woofer in the bottom and the 4594 covering mids and highs. Room is 14x16 and 9 ft ceiling. Speakers about 8 ft apart and listening position 10 ft from speaker front.

Are you opposed to using one of the ATH horns? https://at-horns.eu/

You can resize them for your BMS4594. And you can ask @mabat to help you do it in the ATH thread https://www.diyaudio.com/community/...he-easy-way-ath4.338806/page-700#post-7528628

At that point you can have them 3D printed as a final product and/or construct them in the materials you want (cement, etc). They're design for home hifi rather than pro-audio. And since you're using it in a room that's more the style you'd want. mabat is also matching a horn to an open baffle 18 inch driver so he could have useful advice for you.
