I have the 4592 on Altec multi-cell horns. Even tho that's an exit diameter mismatch, I love the drivers. High end out of the tweeter is far from flat, falls pretty quickly. A shelf filter helps fix that.
Currently the crossover is active DSP beause it's a P.A. rig.
High pass on mid: 4th order Butterworth @525Hz
Low Pass on mid: Not used
High Pass Tweeter: 6.3 kHz 4th order (its natural crossover point.)
6db/Octave shelf +4dB. Circa 4K hinge point.
That could be done passively, of course you'd have to figure out attenuation for each section.
