Blurred edges?

All my edges on my projected image seem to be blurred and unfocused, why does this happen?

Is it my projection lens? Its a cheap lens I got off and overhead projector. Will I need to purchase a more expensive one, if so, what type do u recommend? a triple?

a singlet (from an ohp) focuses on the middle, a double usually tries to focus the inside and outside border (unsure on this as I've seen doublets that are just as blurry on the outside), a triplet tends to make the entire image in focus. Get a triplet and you'll be happy as long as all the optics are lined up.

That wasnt it,

It turns out that the light was too close to the fresnel and screen.

So I solved the problem!
